  • I completely agree with all of these! It makes us a better person and parent when we take the time to take care of ourselves. Sometimes we need a reminder though so thanks so much for sharing at Share The Wealth Sunday!

  • These are some pretty important “non-negotiables”. These days, mine center mostly around a bit of time to myself and the ability to get some work done. Oh, eating…and water! Those are all big ones for me these days. πŸ™‚

  • Congratulations on the guest post and I love your non-negotiable s!! Thanks for linking up on My 2 Favorite Things on Thursday Link Party!! Hope to see you again tomorrow!! Love partying with you!! Pinned!

  • Love your post! Congrats on the Guest Post. πŸ™‚ I agree with your three points. My morning routine has suffered since school got out. Date Night is the one I am protective of and do not like to compromise on. (My husband and two oldest boys are in Scouts – so, one Date Night a month hubby is gone. We try to make it up another day that week.) Spending time with my girlfriends is difficult since some are far away from me. Last night, one of them called me and we chatted for a few. It was great to talk to her even though we can’t visit in person often. ~Adrienne, stopping by from BeingAWordsmith’s Traffic Jam Weekend Linky Party #24

    • Hi Adrienne, thanks so much! I’m so glad you stopped by πŸ™‚ Girlfriend time is the hardest thing for me to schedule too. I did have a Skype date with an out of town friend recently and it was SO fun. Its hard being far from your girls πŸ™‚

  • I love your candid post – and I’m so glad you are taking time for yourself and reinforcing that with those non-negotiables – so important!
