4 Ingredients that Transform your Relationship: Chris & Megan Rea
There’s something about Winter and Cooking Shows that seem go hand in hand.
Last month Chris and I stumbled upon a little Netflix gem called, “Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat.”
Have you seen it? It’s beautiful. This one-part cooking documentary, one-part travel documentary will make you want to jump on a plane and become an olive oil…Farmer? Harvester? Grove-er? (that’s not a word.)
Obviously, I need to watch that episode again.
As we were taking it in and simultaneously drooling over freshly harvested sweet lemons from Mexico, it struck me; the same principles they’re applying to cooking, could completely transform a marriage.
See, we each bring these raw components into our relationships, but by knowing how to harness and combine them properly, you can create something truly special.

Unique.
It’s the combination, the working together of the ingredients that amplify the individual elements far beyond anything they could’ve been on their own.
This week, we thought we’d do a little something different and offer our blog post as a podcast.
Because listening is my new favorite way to read. Thanks for that Audiobooks.
Chris and I did a tag-team message at our home church last week on the 4 elements in cooking that, applied to marriage, can completely transform your relationship and we thought you’d really enjoy it. Before each of our points there’s a 30-sec video, which obviously you can’t see, but just go with it because you won’t be missing a thing.
Enjoy listening along this week while you drive or get ready or prep dinner or whenever else you listen to podcasts.
(SIDE NOTE: are you a grocery store podcast listener? I have a lot of respect for you, I’d be way to distracted lol)
And let us know if you’d love more of this style in the future!
(“Built to Last part two 2/10/19”)
Can’t wait for you to hear about the 4 ingredients that transform your marriage AND about the one Trader Joe’s item that left Chris flicking things across our kitchen.
Until next time,
Meg

Thank you both! This teaching, direct from God’s word, is amazing! I used so many parts of this message this week with my husband and some other family member when struggles occurred!
Thank you for being obedient to God and being an open vessel for him to speak thru! Praise him who is worthy of all praise! Love you guys!
Wow, Sue. That is so encouraging and means so much to us! I love that you were able to apply it throughout the week! We love you all, you’re such a blessing.
